5k run in 32 mins again

Good run, I only walked once halfway through. Really focused on using my core strength to take the pressure off my lower legs. Also pumping my arms harder while I run helped.

Such a beautiful sunset today. The reflection on the water was all pink and blue pearlescent.

Did a 5k run today in about 32min

Was sick yesterday so couldn’t run. Today was ok but my calves got really tired early on. Feel like I need to build up my core more to take the pressure off my knees and calves.

Not going to the Dutch Shop anymore. Maybe just to by clogs, but no more sugary food. This lead to a binge which I haven’t recorded in my food diary. Goddammit.

Really enjoying the Soyco Thai Tofu, just the right amount of spice and so creamy. Also found another Fruit & Veg Shop today that sells Kale.

CITY2SURF Training Schedule

My training schedule in the lead up to the City2Surf (14k) race on August 12. It is based on the City2Surf Beginners Program, except for the first few weeks. So far I have stuck to the first 3 days, so yay, I do really well with schedules and will now schedule the rest of my life.

Finally got around to trying my liquid egg whites. Really nom if you drown the bread in the egg whites bit it does make it hard to handle.

Yay I found a local Fruit & Veg Shop that sells Kale. It is becoming more and more common. I sauteed it in the salmon oils. So much flavour.
